Health Checkup

  • We regularly check on your loved one’s meds, doctor visits, mood, nutrition, safety, and notify your family of any concerns before they escalate.

  • When caring for an aging family member becomes overwhelming, it may be time to contact an Aging Life Care Professional. 

    ​

    Consider hiring an Aging Life Care Professional if the person you are caring for:

    • has multiple medical or psychological issues

    • is unable to live safely in their current environment 

    • is not pleased with current care providers and requires advocacy

    • is confused about their own financial and/or legal situation

    • has limited or no family support

    ​

    Or if your family: 

    • has recently become involved with helping the individual and needs education and advice about available services 

    • is either “burned out” or confused about care solutions 

    • has limited time, availability, and/or expertise in dealing with the individual’s chronic care needs 

    • is at odds regarding care decisions

    • needs education and/or advice in dealing with behaviors associated with dementia

    • Unfortunately, care management is not covered by Medicare or health insurance, but caregiving fees may be covered by a long-term care insurance policy.

    • It is best to contact the policy-holder directly to determine your Care Management or caregiving benefit. We are happy to review your long-term care policy.
